"Oakley" is a very sweet, laid back kind of gal. She has a lot of substance, nice angles, gorgeous wavy coat and a temperament to die for. Her cute little cow-lick going up the ridge of her nose gives her character. We are excited to have her here, with special thanks to Laurel Fork Labradors for co-owning her with us for our breeding program.
Our plan for her in 2014, is to allow her to continue to develop. She is getting socialized to many things on the farm: people, car rides, livestock and other dogs. We teach basic obedience through life's lessons: sitting for treats, waiting to go through doors, "leave it", a good command with all the things she can put in her mouth around the farm, especially horse manure (yuck!). She is learning "down" and "stay" and one of the most important commands, "COME". Every dog needs to know this one.
Keep an eye out for her future in the conformation show ring, then possibly some nose work.
